They are best friends with [[Scribble]], and the two of them live with the rest of the [[Scribble Squad]] in a treehouse in the [[Mother's City]].<br /> == Appearance ==<br /> Dragon is average size for a shadow spirit. Like all [[Spirit|spirits]], they are incorporeal, and can change their size and shape at will, but their typical appearance is that of a small black creature. They have a long tail with a pointed tip, and long expressive ears. Their eyes are solid white. They have faint scale-like markings on their face, shoulders, and flanks.<br /> <br /> == Personality ==<br /> Dragon is shy, and prefers to be alone. They do not speak verbally, although Scribble is able to understand them. They enjoy drawing and painting, although they don't value anything they create, and will typically throw it away as soon as they are done with it. They are unemotional, and are content to simply exist without doing anything. They enjoy routine and simplicity.<br /> <br /> == History ==<br /> The spirit who would eventually be known as Dragon emerged in y7385 in [[Silverwood]]. They found themselves among a whole host of other spirits, of all kinds. While the other spirits enjoyed spending time with each other and having conversations, this particular spirit preferred to be by themselves, and never spoke. Several of the kinder community members tried to become the spirit's friend, engaging them in activities and encouraging them to speak up, but the spirit felt no connection to them.<br /> <br /> Unable to connect with any of the others, and tired of them trying to form relationships, the young shadow spirit left their emergence point in y7391 to find a new home for themselves. They wandered aimlessly for several decades, traveling across the entire continent. They never felt lonely, or like something was missing; the spirit was happy to simply exist by themselves, doing what they wanted to do, and not having to engage with any other creatures.<br /> <br /> In y7424, the spirit found themselves on the western edge of the continent, in the [[Commonlands]]. They met a young mixed-species creature named [[Scribble]]. Unlike most creatures that the shadow spirit had met, this one seemed friendly without being pushy or over-enthusiastic. The spirit found themselves drawn to Scribble, and soon discovered that Scribble could understand them, despite their inability to communicate verbally. When Scribble asked their name, the spirit realized that they did not have one. Scribble gave them the nickname Dragon, admitting that they had thought the spirit actually was a dragon at first, and the name stuck. <br /> <br /> == Relationships ==<br /> <br /> === [[Scribble]] ===<br /> Scribble is Dragon's closest and only friend.
