His head and wings are pale gray-brown, with darker striped markings along his neck and upper chest. He has round orange markings on both cheeks, just below his eyes, with lighter gray feathers closer to his beak. His beak and talons are vivid orange, and his lower chest is brown, speckled with white. His hind legs and tail are pale sandy-brown, with darker gray-brown tabby striping.
