Ankouvians measure days by the seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Each season has one hundred days exactly.
Years are specified by a lowercase y followed by the year number. The full date format is Season 0, y0000.
The first year of Ankouvian history is stylized as Year Zero.
Spring 1 is the first day of the new year. The day is referred to as the Day of the Mother, in honor of it being the anniversary of the Gryphon Mother's first arrival on the planet.
There have been seven different eras of Ankouvian history, but they do not affect the written date.
An overview of Ankou's history can be found here.
