He grew up in Tayutho, but left when he was in his mid-thirties. He is the father of King Wyrrik, although the two have never met, and the ex-partner of Queen Tyqua.

Appearance

Kaede is small and wiry, with dark brown fur and a tousled black mane. His underbelly and facial markings are lighter tan, and he has tan striping on his hindquarters and the base of his tail. His eyes are pale reddish-pink.

Personality

Kaede is quiet, skittish, and melancholic. He prefers keeping to himself, and avoids attention or large gatherings. When he was partners with Tyqua, he pleaded with her to keep their relationship a secret so that he would not be under the scrutinizing eyes of the entire kingdom. After leaving her, he carries a constant guilt, both for his abandonment, and for the fact that the child he sired directly caused the Age of War.
