They typically have a high level of magic. Like all phoenixes, they are capable of regenerating their bodies; in the case of this species, it is by burning themselves up and recreating a younger version of themselves from the ashes. They have long antennae-like tendrils on their heads and the tip of each wing which keep growing throughout their entire lives; the length of them does not change after a regeneration, so they are a good measure of a phoenix's age.
