Basille

He was a member of Nix's army during the Siege of Lyndoreth, and he remained in Thelaji after her defeat and death.

Appearance

Basille is scrawny and lanky, with a long neck and tail. He has short wings, large eyes, and a long beak. His fur is brown, with dark stripes along his shoulders, wings, and haunches. His tail tip and mane are dark brown, with thick fur. His beak and talons are pale tan, and the underside of his wings is dark brown.

Personality

Basille is skittish and anxious, having been pushed around by others his whole life. He speaks and moves quickly, and tends to always be fidgeting. He is good at following orders, and although he struggles with the morality of doing things he doesn't believe to be right, he is too afraid to stand up for himself to speak against whoever gives the order.

History

Basille was hatched near the end of Winter in y891 in the kingdom of Liwon. He had one sibling, a brother named Apophis, who hatched several days later. Despite Basille being the older of the pair, Apophis was much larger, and from very early on in life he established himself as the one in charge. Basille spent much of his early years being pushed around by Apophis, doing what he asked, unable to stand up for himself. While their parents were still around, the two were mainly left to their own devices.

When Basille was two years old, in y893, his home kingdom of Liwon was attacked by Thelaji, their neighbor to the west. The king was killed, and the rest of the kingdom surrendered. Liwon as a whole was disbanded and assimilated into Thelaji, and so Basille found himself belonging to a new kingdom.
