They are typically brown, tan, or gray in color, and can have a variety of markings. They were originally named Forest Gryphons by the Gryphon Mother, but they became known as Common Gryphons as well, due to their abundance; they are the most populous species of gryphon on Ankou. Although they are magical creatures, they typically have a very low level of magic.
