He runs a tea and herb shop in the Mother's City, and cares for one of the largest honey farms in Ankou.

Appearance

Emmett has a curved back and long thin legs. His coat is a dull brown, fading to a darker color along his spine, haunches, and the bridge of his nose. His muzzle, brows, and underbelly are gray-brown, with the lightest patch between his forelegs. His hooves are dark brown, and his antlers a pale brown, fading to tan along the ridges. He typically wears a satchel buckled around his waist just before his hind legs, and a small bag around his neck containing various herbs or gemstones.

Personality

Emmett is interested in all things plants and herbs, as well as crystals. Despite having no magic himself, he has a deep fascination with it. He is a scholar and enjoys reading. He does not care much for the company of others, seeing them as a mildly irritating obstacle at best. He is weary, and speaks slowly with a deep, rumbling voice.

Briar

As a regular patron of the Library, Emmett has no choice but to occasionally run into its re-founder, though he finds solace in the fact that Briar seems to be just as reserved as he is. As such, they are no more than acquaintances, and have held but a few short conversations - which makes her one of the creatures closest to him.
