He is half wolf and half birdcat gryphon (bearded vulture / bobcat). He was the first successful magical-natural hybrid, born using magic. He lives with Kara and Bakar.

Appearance

Paetus is tall, with long ears and a thick, bushy tail. He has two sets of wings, one considerably smaller than the other. He has a smooth face with a sloped muzzle, and a patch of dark fur under his chin. His main fur color is dark brown, with lighter gray-brown on his underbelly, neck, chin, and tail tip. The very bottom of his paws and tail, as well as a spot in the center of his chest, are lighter gray. His wings are dark brown with tan stripes and speckles. His neck and head are orange and yellow, with his face a light brown-gray. His ears, nose, and eye markings are the same dark brown as his wings. He has speckled orange markings across his body.

Personality

Paetus tries his best to avoid drawing attention to himself, which he finds difficult due to his unusual circumstances. He is reserved and quiet, but very observant. He has an excellent memory. He is excellent at moving around silently. He tends to be off-putting to those who don't know him, as they are often intimidated by his large stature, silent nature, and lack of expression.

History

Paetus hatched from his egg on [DATE], in [LOCATION] during the Age of War. His mother, Qirana, was a birdcat gryphon, and his father, Uthro, was a wolf. Although relationships between natural and magical species were not entirely unheard of, never before had they produced offspring. As they were unable to do so naturally, his parents used magic to create him, taking a bit of each of them to form an offspring with both their traits.
