She is the only daughter of Nix, who led the Siege of Lyndoreth. She became queen of Thelaji after her mother's death.

Appearance

Parhelia is half arctic gryphon and half common/forest gryphon. She has a large head and small wings. Her main fur color is light gray dappled with darker markings on her shoulders, underbelly, and flanks, as well as stripes on her face down from her eyes. Her beak and talons are medium gray. Her wings, tail tip, and mane are mottled brown, with a mix of striped and speckled markings of different values. The underside of her wings are darker brown, with four stripes near the bottom.

Personality

Parhelia tries her best to be a just and kind queen. She struggles with feelings of anger due to her mother's influence, and guilt due to the family that she was born into. She is intelligent and observant.

History

Parhelia hatched from her egg on Spring 12, y931, as the only offspring of Queen Nix and General Apophis.

Relationships

Nix

Parhelia was only six when her mother died, but she spent the rest of her life struggling with the legacy that she left behind. When Nix was alive, she paid almost no attention to her daughter, needing her only as an heir so that her dynasty would not end.
