He is responsible for slaying the royal family of Thelaji, ending both the Thelaji Conquest and the Siege of Lyndoreth, and destroying the Frost Jewel.

Appearance

Like all fire dragons, Ignis is a very large creature, standing about forty feet high at the shoulders. His neck and tail are long and graceful. In his youth, his scales were bright red-orange, but they have faded to a dustier red-brown as he aged. He has wide orange horns that bend backwards in the middle, with a second set of smaller red horns underneath, as well as a small spike on the tip of his snout. His eyes are fiery red. His jawline and back are dotted with spines.

Personality

Ignis carries himself with an air of dignity and wisdom. He speaks slowly and thoughtfully, as though each word is precious. He is not very expressive, and rarely expresses joy stronger than a faint smile. He carries within him a deep sadness, a melancholy that comes from wishing he didn't have to do the things he did to protect Ankou.

History

Ignis hatched on Summer 54, y279. His mother was The First of the fire dragons.
