The Beginning is the first period of recorded Ankouvian history, occurring between Year Zero and y499. It began when Gryphon Mother landed on the planet, her essence giving life to a variety of magical creatures and sentience to the existing natural creatures. The era ends when the Mother's True Form dies and she is reincarnated for the first time, ushering in the Age of Kingdoms.
