The Great Battle

The Great Battle was the event that ended the Age of War. It was the largest of battles between the magical and natural sides, a natural conclusion to over two hundred years of conflict. The battle itself lasted fifty-eight days, over half a season, with hundreds of casualties on both sides. The battle ended when the magical leader and the natural leader fought each other one-on-one; the magical leader, Wanuvo, overpowered and gravely injured the magical leader, Deniigi, but opted to heal her rather than kill her. The two sides formed a truce, and the war's end was officially declared the next morning, beginning the Age of Harmony. The land the battle occurred on eventually blossomed into a large city.
