The battle itself lasted fifty-eight days, over half a season, with hundreds of casualties on both sides. The battle ended when the magical leader and the natural leader fought each other one-on-one; the magical leader, Wanuvo, overpowered and gravely injured the magical leader, Deniigi, but opted to heal her rather than kill her.
