Nordyr is an island off the northern cliffs of the Ankouvian continent. It has the coldest temperatures on the planet, and is sparsely populated. Beginning in the Age of Kingdoms and continuing until the Age of Spirits, it was populated by a group of arctic gryphons known as the Thelajian Blood, dedicated to upholding their species' lineage.
