Chimera

Chimeras are a magical species. They typically have two heads, one lion and one goat, with a snake's head and body in place of a tail, though other combinations of creatures are possible, especially with mixed-species heritage. They are traditionally given three-syllable names, with each syllable corresponding to one member of the trio, and the full name referring to the full creature.
