Mother's City

The Mother's City is a city in the Commonlands, located in the spiral peninsula on the southern coastline. It is the most populous settlement in Ankou, and the oldest civilization on the planet, as it encompasses the location of the Mother’s first landing upon the planet in Year Zero. Beginning with the Age of Kingdoms, it is split into several districts, each named after the First of a magical species. The landscape and layout of the city changed greatly over the millennia, sprawling in size to cover more of the Commonlands, and it was a major magical stronghold during the Age of War.

Geography

The Mother’s City, like most of the Commonlands, is largely temperate grasslands. Due to its location on the spiral peninsula, a large amount of the city is coastal, with a mix of sanded beaches and tall cliff faces.
